What I teach

I currently teach three different types of yoga: Rocket, Dynamic Vinyasa and Yin. I also run private and corporate sessions which I can tailor to the needs of the group. Read on to find out what to expect from a class with me.

Rocket Yoga

Rocket got its name from Bob Weir, lead singer of the rock band The Grateful Dead. Described
like this because it ‘gets you there faster’.

Expect a speedy flow, full of inversions, backbends, and arm balances. Created by the ‘bad man of Ashtanga’, Larry Schultz, Rocket is the full package at twice the speed.

Yin

Focusing on passive, seated postures targeting the connective tissues in the hips, pelvis and lower spine, Yin increases flexibility and calms the mind.

Perfect for athletic types who need to release tension in overworked joints and those craving relaxation and a good stretch.

Dynamic Vinyasa

Flowy and fun, Vinyasa is where I feel my most creative. Translated literally it means ‘to place in a special way.’

Linking movement with breath, you’ll flow through a series of standing asanas, seated poses and backbends, building strength and flexibility in the body (with some fun extra challenges along the way).

Privates & Corporates

I enjoy tailoring yoga classes to the specific needs of individuals and small groups. Private and corporate classes are a great way to tackle challenges in more detail and to create bespoke classes designed for every group.
